Manufacturers of webbing - cotton, polyester, polypropylene, PVC Coated and Weldable. Drapery / Curtain tapes, Mattress tapes, Fringes, Cords, Tassels, Braids, Elastics, Shock cords and Flange cords. We also supply hook and loop tape, zippers, side release buckles and threads.

The Company commenced trading in 1938, in rented premises on the fifth floor of Elizabeth House, in Sydney. The Total Floor space was 1500 square feet, employing just three people. They were primarily involved in the manufacture of braids and trimmings.

Over the years, we have expanded our manufacturing program to include such products as Piping Cord, Webbing, Crochet, Yarns, Curtain Heading Tapes, Knitted Elastic and Tassels.

This has enabled us to provide a complete range of products and services, all specially tailored to our customers requirements which is so important in business today.

The company now occupies its own 100,000 square feet factory and currently employing 70 people. Not only do we manufacture but we also make some of our raw materials, dye our products, coat webbing with P.V.C. and design and build our own machines.

We are constantly researching and developing new processes and products, so that we will always be at the forefront of technology in our industry.

Webbing and Trimming is an Australian manufacturer of narrow fabrics since 1938. We employ 70 people in our 100,000 square foot factory in Padstow in central Sydney. We are a progressive company who prides itself on producing superior products and faultless deliveries. We supply all of the major Australian manufactuers in all of the textile and related industries. We have spent a lot of time and money to implement a just in time manufacturing facility to accommodate all of our large and small customers alike. We are now starting to reap the rewards in the export markets that we are breaking into.

We have enjoyed continued success each year due to the highly professional and personalised service provided by our committed staff. It is envisaged that we will continue to seek new opportunities in the Australian and Overseas Markets to further expand our presence in the Manufacturing Industry.

In January 2000, a Distribution centre was established in Auckland, New Zealand.
Since that time the operation there has grown rapidly and now extends services to customers from Keri Keri in the far North all the way to Otago in the South Island.

The backbone to the success of this venture has been the dedication to treating our customers as individuals and with honesty.

Webbing and Trimming recognises the importance of efficient communication for all facets of manufacture and have subsequently invested in the relevant technology. We are also aware of the need for timely delivery of our products that is valuable to a clients competitiveness in their market.
